If you have a smartphone and link your phone number to facebook, and their phone is also linked to facebook, will blocking them on facebook also block them from texting or calling you as well?
IE lets say you block a creepy person on facebook, and both of your phones are linked. Are they able to text you later or call you? Or would i have to call my phone company and have them blocked as well?

No it doesn't work like that. If you want to block somebody from calling you you need to call your phone provider and have them block the number. Usually it costs a small fee
