From my iPhone Facebook used to tell me when people were online... Example: jimmy- online 3m ago.
And now it not does it for certain people? All my friends have iPhones and now it only shows a few of them who have been on, and the others it doesn't say anything?

those people have their chat turned off so people wont know when they are online

I never actually log in to the chat. I stay offline and view all my messages in the email-like window rather than the chat box in the bottom right. I would presume it shows nothing next to my name.
