I have both the messenger app and the normal Facebook app on my iPod. The messenger app does not let me log out, so I deleted it. On the normal app I turned off chat and it still says I'm online! I've checked from other Facebook accounts and even if I log out it still says I'm online. Any way to fix this?

Change the password and click on log me out to other devices, may be the app u deleted is the reason, Or Just deactivate ur account for a while I.e 2-3 hours and re login
In Other words Facebook has many errors showing offline people online is another one so facebook will fix it as soon as possible
Yeah I also turned chat off me and my friend changed password and clicked on log me out After few days we went offline
