Nope. Eventho that would suck so much. But if you change your name your friends stay.

Nope. I have done it myself.
However, FB now requires that you use your real, legal name. I had to provide proof of my identity and a legal reason for the name change (divorce).
It doesn't change anything else on your account.
I had a heck of a time finding the 'Change of name' form online for FB.
Click on the gear thing on the top right and go to the 'Help" center.
Type name change into the search bar.
Pick the link that matches your needs.
