Is turning "off" chat same as offline in Facebook? - Iphone - 09-05-2013 12:38 AM
On my iPhone Facebook app, when u go on chat, there is this gear symbol at the top right, when I tap it it turns "off" chat. Also with my computer Facebook I can turn "off" chat. What does that mean? Am I offline so no one can see me(meaning that I don't have a green dot beside my name saying im online)? Or am I online but just my chat is "off". I know this is a stupid question

Yes Turning off is the Same as Offline its Just a Different Word of Saying it
