Basically, this is an XP issue. You need to go to Advanced Settings (Control Panel), go to Security, and disable the button that blocks you from going to any websites that have an invalid security certificate. That will allow you to open up a website that doesn't have a valid security certificate.
However, you need to also ratchet up your Windows Firewall security protection to high, just in case malware does happen if you disable this important advanced security feature for your website browsing.
