I'm actually the only person I know of in the whole school without facebook.
I just want it so can chat to my friends and stuff. And I told him that I'd have my profile on private, not have my second name on and not talk to strangers or anything. He looked deeply annoyed and said "No, I don't like facebook."
I said ok but will you think about it and maybe let me know another time. He said "Yes" really crossly in an 'I'm not really going to look into it or think' kind of voice.
Do you think I should wait a week or something then ask him again?
He let's me have Skype, instagram and YouTube so I don't see the problem. In my opinion Facebook is way safer than YouTube...
If you could help me think of ways to persuade him to let me, that would be great1! Thanks!

Perhaps you should ask - sincerely, not as a rhetorical question - why he doesn't like Facebook. Goodness knows there are plenty of good reasons. Then you'll actually know what the problem is.

I'm sorry but there's no hope. I wanted FB for years but my Mum only let me have it a few months ago. Sorry but you're out of luck, it's close to impossible to persuade over-protective parents into letting you have FaceBook. xD
