My instagram and facebook are both signed in on my iPad. However, they are both using DIFFERENT email addresses. On my settings they are not linked. On my instagram profile it does not say my name anywhere, just my account name and there is no pictures of me. I keep getting updates saying 'your facebook friend has joined instagram' and they start following me. How the hell is this happening when there is no connection what so ever? Please help it's important x

You must have linked them on Instagram somehow. Facebook bought into Instagram so they have maybe just linked you both together because you always have them both logged in?
