Basically, when I go to my account setting on the left side I don't have the 'follow' option...
Can someone please help me why this is? and how can I get it so that I can add the follow button?

first upgrade your facebook to GRAPH search , then you can able to see

Go to the Account setting than you will see Followers, click on here and tick the Turn on Follow option. Than you will see how many people you following.
