Why doesn't Facebook's update "scroll" show up on my computer? - winterbunny - 09-06-2013 05:32 PM

I'm not even sure what it's call and didn't even know it existed until I logged in to Facebook from another computer. It's located at the bottom of the chat section (underneath "Turn on Chat") and it shows the latest comment or post by my friends one at a time. But it doesn't show up on my computer at home no matter which browser I use. Does anyone else have this problem?
@Korim - Thanks for the info, but I was only asking about how to get the update scroll to appear, not Likes and who can see them.

The word ‘like’ here means public pages that you click ‘Like’ on in Facebook or Subscriptions that you’ve chosen. If you click ‘Like’ on some hot guy or girl’s public page, you can hide that from your timeline. Unfortunately, if you click ‘Like’ on one of the photos or videos on that same page, everyone will know about it. You can hide the pages you like but you can’t hide the fact that you ‘liked’ a photo or something else that someone has shared. Get it? The only way to hide your individual photo likes is to ‘unlike’ them.
