Is it possible to delete it completely instead deactivating it. Like if I were to delete then I could not sign in ever again even with the correct email and password.

I have heard after you deactivated your account you can still log in successfully for 30 days. After that it is deleted

Yup you can delete it , Follow this steps!
1. Sign into your account
2. Click this link https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account
3. Give your facebook password
4. You will get a pop up like "Your account has been deactivated from the site and will be permanently deleted within 14 days. If you log into your account within the next 14 days, you will have the option to cancel your request."
Now your facebook account is deleted.

If you decided to delete your Facebook account and still don't know how to do that, I'll show you a simple way to do that, you actually can not find the direct link to delete your facebook account not even in your account settings and it's quiet difficult to search for it in the Facebook Help Center, today i'll show you the whole process to delete your facebook account permanently:
1 Click the following link in order to get you in the Delete Facebook account page.
2 Facebook will remind you of the consequences of deleting your account permanently, if you're 100% sure about it, just click on Delete My Account
3 A new message will show up asking you to enter you password and re-writing the captcha code, once you click on Okay to complete the deletion process.
When deleting your facebook account, your profile will disappear from facebook as if it's deactivated and that's only for 14 days, you will still have a chance to normally reactivate within these 14 days, once this deadline is up, your facebook account will be permanently deleted.

Yes, you can delete your Facebook account completely. But remember after deactivating your account in Facebook please don't login for 14days, or else it will be activated once again

No its not possible! ever time when you log in after deleting your account your account has been activated.
