How do I prevent my instagram photos from showing up on my Facebook feed? - math - 11-07-2013 07:51 AM

In order for hashtags to work properly my account needs to be connected to a Facebook account. I use instagram as a work out inspiration and I would prefer if my friends on Facebook didn't see it. Is there anyway for me to connect my account to Facebook without it posting my photos on my news feed?

Go to your privacy settings and click to 'only me', then only you see them no one else unless you decide to share with friends.

You can set the pictures to be only seen by you. I only know how to do that when originally setting and connecting the accounts but I don't know how to once it is already set up. But there is a way.

Hey math! You can go to your privacy settings and on the left hand corner you will see there an option that says apps. Click on 'apps' , on that page you will see the apps you're using. Edit your audience for instagram to "only me". When you post photos on your instagram it will still show on your facebook but you are the only one who can see it.
