I'm sick of my twitter followers, how can I get more people to follow me? I need more new people. The ones I have are kind of boring, so any suggestions on what to do?

Just follow people you know then tweet them saying
"Follow back
" that usually works.Or you can consistently retweet people then they'll notice you retweeting them they'll follow you.
Or you can make fake accounts and they could follow you, and if you get to a point where you have a lot more people will just follow you because you have a lot followers.

You have to have a celebrity follow you. It sure is a hard work to get noticed by a celebrity. Try following lots of celebs including those who are not yet that famous. I got a follow back from a One Direction member, and every, I get 5+ followers!
