hello i wanted to know if i can change my name. i live in canada BC i want to change it because i have the same name as my grampa and i dont like it and i dont even know the guy. when i go to the doctor or dentisit or somthing they pick the wrong file because we have the same name. can i change it and how much will it be and how long will it take.

i am confused regarding u r gender first please specify your gender it will be easy to answer............

Go to Account Setting ➤ General Account Settings ➤ click Edit on the right of Name. Read carefully, FB tell you there how many times left for you to change your name.
My advise is use your own name, abbreviate if necessary, don't put like your name & your sweet heart for example; in case you're hacked or can't log in, you might be asked to submit your ID to regain your account.

I don't know in your Country but here in the philippines it is possible through Local Civil Registry Office by making a petition to do so and it costs Php.3000 for a name change.

Are you Talking About on Facebook or Off of Facebook ?
if your Talking About on Facebook
Go to Account Settings Where it Says Name Hit Change and Put in the New Name That you Want to Change it to
Make Sure you Dont Change it more than 3 Times As After that you Wont Be Able to Change it Again
Also Make Sure your Using your Real Name At All Times According to the Facebook Terms of Service You Cant Make Up Names
If your Talking About In the Real World you have to Go to Local Civil Registry Office To Get a Name Changed
