i accidentally started to face time someone bc it showed up that i had a call for them and i clicked the wrong button.... i clicked end within like 1 second will they get a notification?

Yes, it will appear as a missed call, unless you have an iPhone 4 and you were NOT connected to WiFi. If it didn't start ringing on their phone it won't say 'Missed Call' but if it did it will. Sorry.
