Do you think Facebook is a breeding ground for women to be digital competitive? - SmartPerson - 11-07-2013 04:02 PM

is this where they compare each others lives with themselves?

Let's face it, Facebook is so each person can broadcast about themselves.
MANY people will see it as a opportunity to brag and showcase their life's events.
When it comes to similar pages, those who compare themselves to others can easily be caught up in competition.

Many women will have pages that are similar in their own ways, School, Dating, Family crises, Health, Children, Beauty and especially relationships. It's easy to see SOME women will partake in competing with each other. Whether it's a "Breeding Ground" for competition I'm not sure what your threshold or definition is, but it is a stage for which those who do want that style of interaction can participate in such.

That is certainly not saying that all women are competitive. Many are just informing others, and beyond taking some creative pride in how well the page is (minimum level of quality), don't care if someone else outdoes them.
