I want to delete my account on facebook and then make a new facebook id from that email.

You can deactivate it. However you can't use the same email for another account as when you deactivate it, it is basically 'logged out' for as long as you wish, and if you ever decide to log back in again it will allow you.
Deactivating just kind of 'closes' your account for a while so people can't view your profile or if they search you, you won't be found. Unless you log back in again into that account, it kind of re-opens it.
As I said you can't use the same email because it will just re-open this account. One thing you could do is either use a new email, or go onto the account you are no longer using and change the email by doing this:
'Account settings>General>Email'
Then remove the email from that account. You may see a facebook email and then you could keep that for that account then you won't have to use another email.
As for deactivating you do this:
'Account settings>General>Deactivate'
Then from there you can make your new account using this email. Hope this helps(:

you can deactivate it and recover it.but if u want to delete permanently than open your facebook account and in next tab open this link:-

Do Not Login For 14 Days and It will Be Deleted you Will Not Be Able to Make a New Account With that Email Address Until the Account is Fully Deleted Which Takes 14 Days to Complete
