my date on my pc is august 31 while my facebook date is September 1st. My timezone when I went to change it on my laptop, when I changed it to the correct timezone, it put me 3 hours ahead than what it was supposed to be. the default timezone was Canadian pacific and when I changed it to eastern, it put me 3 hours ahead from 5:00 to 8:00 when the time really was 5:00 eastern. I edited the time however on facebook during my inbox conversations, the time is the same time set on my pc, however the date is one day ahead. how do I change this?

there is no option on Facebook to change time and date on Facebook.
But you can change date of your posts by following this URL https://www.facebook.com/help/www/331944693487215
