Facebook isn't on your computer, it's on the internet. You can close your account, if indeed it is yours, you can clear your browser history, delete any programs or toolbars you've installed (deleting some programs may require deleting their registry keys), but you can't delete something that's on someone else's computer. As for ads, there's a program called adblock. I personally am against its use, because those advertisements are how the websites you enjoy going to make the money they need to produce the content you go to them to enjoy.

If you use Firefox, you can use AdBlockPlus. Yahoo search it & follow the instructions.


If you use Chrome, you can get it there too. Google it & follow the instructions.


I use it on Firefox & love having no ads. It even stops the video ads that have come out recently.
