On my notifications it popped up that someone shared a link. Ive never had this happen, I chicked on it and it was a video. Did this person send me this link on purrpose?

It depends, did he share it on you page or on his own. You can share other peoples links to you own page if you think it is interesting or fun. If he shared it on to you page the person probably thought you might find it interesting or funny.
