My phone was syched to facebook and sns messages are now in my phones history how do I delete them

The same way you delete your ordinary sms.
If you don't want to get any notification from FB to your mobile, then turn off your text notification under Text Message under Notification Settings which is under Account Settings.

Go to your friend profile and chick the message and choose a option and delete.

It depends on your phone model but it will be the same way you delete other SMS history on your phone.
