instagram is a social media a bit like facebook and twitter. instagram is usually about taking photos of your food.. you use hashtags and comment and follow your friends and get updated on their photos.. kind of like twitter.. you should try it

Instagram is a media where you document your daily (or whenever you want) activity using photos. Whether its yourself, family, friends or a crack in the street you just tripped over, it gives the people following you an idea of who you are. It could be fun from uploading a pic of you skydiving to a pic of a dog dyed green. Just have fun with it.

You can use the cell phone app to take photos. If you're out and about, what you're eating, anything really. It's similar to Twitter, but you express yourself through photos. You can tag your photos with hashtags so more people will notice them.
