Mostly a guy would delete / unfriend a girl that confesses to him which he doesn't like from his Facebook. However, why there is a guy did not unfriend her from facebook and said thank you instead?

It depends on the guy's personality. If he's immature, he probably will delete/unfriend anyone who says they don't like him. Because of disappointment or temper.
But a mature guy will not give a crap. Those who don'y like him will unfriend/block him. He won't bother. Like he doesn't give a crap about it.
