I sent a friend request to someone 2 days ago. When I looked them up it said friend request sent. Does that mean they ignored/denied it or they havent went on facebook yet?

That just means they haven't responded yet... They haven't denied your request

they either ignored it or havent went on yet.
when a friend request is denied, it would show up as "add as a friend" again

you cant
