I didnt like the page or click anyhting just scrolled down.

Nothing is showing on my news feed or recent acitivity

If you like something on Facebook then that will automatically pop up on others news feed?
If you dont want that happening then you can always disable that by going on your privacy tab/option.

People won't know if you just look & scroll down a Page, unless of course if you click Like/Comment on their status updates since Page by nature is Public.

You can even Like a Page without no friends know it or search for it if you set your Pages list to Only Me.
One way to do that is
➤ go to your Timeline ➤ click Likes list ➤ click pencil icon on top right ➤ click Edit Privacy ➤ change the audience setting to Only Me.
