I received an e-mail that I would like to post on my facebook timeline. Is it possible to do that?

Yep!
Go to the homepage, then click on the gear icon on the top-right of the page, then in the dropdown menu, click"Account Settings." Now on the page you were just taken to, look for the tab that says "Mobile" on the left selection menu. Click it, and on the page and you'll see a "Post By Email-Address" title...use the email it gives you (or set it up if you haven't).
