I have tried this and it is virtually impossible, I have tried links and hacking forums but no-can-do.
If you can get your mate to log in using your pc or laptop you can find out his password. You need to install a free Keylogger, the best place to find one of these is C-Net website, once you have installed it on your laptop get your mate to log on to his FB and then check out the keylogger, it will have logged every key stroke and you will have his password.
You will not be able to hack into anyones FB remotely. If you do let me know how because I would love to know. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have an idea. That is a bad idea.
You could get jail time for doing that.
It is very illegal to hack Face Book
accounts, or to hack any accounts.

google wireshark... works if you can get them to log on via your wifi and you have some understanding of packet data.
