What is the best way to negatively rant online nowadays, especially on social media? - charlessmith702210@sbcglobal.net - 10-13-2012 12:25 PM

Using Facebook to rant on your post negatively about your job if you already have a job can backfire big big time! Your boss will definitely see it, and you will not get a warning in most cases...and the boss will fire you for doing it.

Oopsies someone learned the hard way didn't they?

Simple: If you don't want your boss to see it, then don't put it online. Ranting about your job on a social media site is like ranting about it in the break room during your lunch break. If they hear/see it, it can have a negative impact on your career potential with that company.

Last time I looked there is this thing called "e-mail" and you can have your own private account and you can send and receive secret messages. You can even get an anonymous account, if necessary.
