i tried adding a band member, but we have no mutual friends so im guessing thats the problem. it says "error you cant add this user as a friend" when i click the add button. i know he accepts fans requests because i saw a picture on tumblr of him accepting someones request. please help? thanks

Yes, you can add people on facebook even if you don't have mutual friends.

His friend list might be at the friend limit of 5000. If he doesn't have that many friends, I'm not quite sure what the problem is.

yes you can add people on Facebook. but remember if you add the to many friends your facebook account is block.
