when blocking some one on Facebook? - Kristen Heuett - 11-15-2013 09:17 PM

ok two questions about blocking.

1.) ok so this guy was commenting on my pictures and my bf told me to block him so I did, but my bf commented telling him to back off. Will the guy be able to see my bf's comment? cuz it was on MY picture?

2.) If I block someone but my Friend is friends with them, and my friend and I are actively on Facebook together (like tag in pics and statuses and comments, etc.) does that mean that her friend can't see what I said or see the picture? or how far does the Blocking go?

1. yes the guy will be able to see your bf comment.
2. If you block someone then that person can see the picture your tagged in but can't see your comment.

If you block someone any material relating to them is invisible to and won't show up, if a friend comments of somethings they've posted, you won't be able to see it. The exact same is true for the person being blocked, they can't see anything relating to you and won't be notified about comments made by friends on your pictures. If you are tagged in a picture, post or status your user rights are automatically applied to the content, your friends can now see the picture, post or status but people blocked by you or anyone tagged will no longer see it.

1. No, the person can't see your pictures and its comments.
2. The person you blocked can see everything, except your comments and your name (tagged for example).
