I'd like to hide a comment, but the person who made it visits my profile a lot. If i cannot see anymore the hidden comment (and nor will see it my friends, right?), will the author be able to find out, or it still will appear for her? (as I'm hoping).

hiding it only hides it from you viewing it - other people will still see it unless they hide it from themselves
