i dont use twitter. but what does it mean when they put '# ' before something. for example .. i was watching the voice and i saw something online and they put as ' #thevoice '.. i dont get it! help?

It's just a tag that you can search for. If I put '#TheVoice' in my tweet, you can find it by searching for '#TheVoice'.
