Facebook isn't on the computer, you just view it through your browser. If you don't want to see Facebook, don't browse to it.

to block facebook or anyother website from your home internet :
1. You can use HT Employee Monitor software
http://ht-vector.com/downloads/employee_monitor_setup.exe
2. after installing it, click on facebook blocking using the button, you can set time limits and click Ok
the software blocks facebook on search itself

To remove ads you can use Adblocker Add-on and if you don't want facebook to open then Block it.
