this happens on both my laptop and iPhone regardless of whether they are connected to wi-fi or not, please help!
iPhone: there was a problem connecting to Facebook, please check your connection and try again
Laptop: doesntshow any messages

Either the internet connection is not good or you get Facebook glitch, which nothing you can do except wait.
Or you might try using other browser.
