can he find out my address, where I live etc
he know I am from bangalore, india.

They may be able to if the same photo is online somewhere with that information accessible on the same or a close page.
The person would be able to use Google Images, search by image and bring up a list of pages that have that image on it. From there, they could look at the information on those pages or follow links from the pages which might have that information on it.

i heard of a way of finding the location a picture was taken just be decoding it, but im sure its not available to the general public,
but anyways as long as your picture did not show anything that he could look up or look for to get to you, you should be fine

Images taken on your phone can occasionally be tagged with information of your location, like they hold information about the date/time of the image being taken. Make sure you check the settings before taking any photos.

It is technically possible so be safe, but I highly doubt it's going to happen. Stuff like that is very rare.

Yes, there are chances.,
technology has speed up a lot ,databases are increased a lot.
if would have send your pic through email.,he will just paste your email id everywhere(facebook,orkut,twitter,google+ etc) at some place he can find your details.,
applications such as Line etc have become plenty in number.,he can find even by this (if he knows your mobile number/name)
There are many softwares available in the market ,which are used to find the others i.p addres,he would have gone in this way to track ur i.p & approached you
