I am unable to see my friends message on facebook. Insead a tab appears in the place of message on which it is written the message was marked as spam or abusive

So it was your friend's post you reported. Sad to say, but reporting a post will notify the Facebook staff, and then they'll take a look at it. In the future, if you don't like what a friend said, you have the option to delete the post.
