Does a Facebook message move from Inbox to Other after cancelling the friend request? - Dane Herrill - 11-19-2013 05:05 AM

The situation is next: I sent a friend request to one person on Facebook, and I sent a message along with the request, to present myself. The person didn't give me any feedback, neither accepted nor declined my friend request, and I didn't receive any reply to my message. It didn't even show me that the person saw the message. After that, I cancelled the friend request. Now I wonder, if we assume that my message arrived to the person's Inbox after I sent the friend request, did it stay in Inbox after I cancelled the request, or did it eventually move on its own to the "Other" folder?

Thanks in advance for the answer!

P.S. That person and I don't have any mutual friends, if that matters.

Nope it doesn't. You can move a message from others to inbox and it will stay there but an inbox message doesn't automatically move to others. If it was in inbox it will stay in inbox unless you move it.
It doesn't automatically transfer. It doesn't matter if you have mutual friends. An inbox message stays in inbox until moved. Period.

If the Message is In the Inbox Already than it Stays There it Does Not Move Chances are Tho if your Not Friends With that Person your Message Would Automatically in the First place Be Sent to The Other Folder Not The Inbox
