My Facebook comments do not show up on selective news comments section (read more)? - FamilyHelper - 11-20-2013 01:31 AM Let's say I go to a national or local news web page with an interesting story. At the bottom of the story they allow Facebook comments. I will write my comment. (I have never written anything negative or derogatory). Sometimes I write my own thought. Sometimes I will reply to someone else's comment. I can visibly see my comment there. But if I log out of Facebook or use a different browser which doesn't have Facebook logged in by cookie, then go back to that page, my comment does not exist for anyone else to see. I log back in, go back to that page, and I can see my comment. Someone explain to me how the F that happens? I have been trying to figure out how each individual news web site allows or does not allow others to see certain people's Facebook comments. The only things I can think of from my Facebook.... 1. I do not have any "friends" on my Facebook account. 2. I do not list my city or state. I wonder if each news web site has the ability to customize and filter out comments from people who have no "friends" linked to their FB account. Or maybe because I do not have any city/state listed with my account. If you are wondering, I don't do the Facebook drama. It's only used so I can add my opinion and thoughts to news sites that don't allow "Disqus" brand comments. - Khalekuzzaman - 11-20-2013 01:44 AM I think that your comment only you (olly me). So it change for public and your problem can be solved. |
