Question about Facebook privacy...? PLEASE HELP!!!? - Seahorse - 11-20-2013 09:40 AM

When it says only "friends of friends" can send you friend requests, does that mean that your friends and mutual friends are the only ones that can friend you? Also, how do I prevent anyone with no mutual friends to not be able to search for my profile?

Yes it does and you just put it as "friends only"

Generally, yes.

What you have to do is secure who can friend/ not friend you. It should have an option to only allow who you want to contact or have you as a friend.

friends and mutual friends can friend you if you ask them for a request
if no one has mutual friends, don't bother sending a request. You could get warned or banned

the search settings are different if you are under 18 or over 18
