I want to keep hide my edition on my profile from friends.For this I have choosen an option"only me".But if i choose only me option then nobody can know and see about me.What will happen if i again choose option"friends".Will it be get notified.Thanks for solving the problem!

Go to privacy setting and change it.

Yes, it will make your information visible to friends only.

They Know Because its Recorded Under Recent Activity you Can Block That By Going to Recent Activity Where you See So And So Has updated There Profile Click on The X Than Click on Block And it will Stop Posting That you Have Edited your Profile But Keep in Mind it May Still Be Recorded in your News Feed That you Can Not Stop From Everybody you Can Add Individual People to your Restricted List But Than They Wont Be Able to See Any of your Posts On There News Feed
