Ok so I want to make an instagram account but I don't want it to notify my friends on there saying "your Facebook friend (name) just made an instagram account",...etc. there's too much drama on there I don't want anyone knowing I'm now on IG

just don't connect with facebook.
On instagram when I was looking for friends who had one, I connected with Instagram. Thus, people were informed. I think if you just choose not to integrate facebook it won't

Just make the account directly in Instagram web; don't make it from FB and don't link it to FB.
