I was scrolling through someones friends and came across another friends brother, next to his name it said 'respond to friend request'
However, i never received a notification for a request and it doesn't come up under my requests, only on his profile!
Why?!
just to add, the request doesn't come up under the requests icon AT ALL.

You don't get Notification on friend request; you'll see number on the Friends Request icon on top bar, it's the first icon, if you don't see that number, you might have clicked that icon or there's a glitch, anyhow, just click that icon to see who sent you friend requests.

Sounds like a Facebook fault unless you have missed it.
Facebook seems to have a lot of faults at the moment so is what expect it is.

I think you forgot. Notification appears but you have not accept his request when that man send request to you.
