So I tried to chat with someone on my phone app, and than it said they were last online 17 mins ago, than I logged back on and it said last online 8hr ago. What happened??? LOL Im so curious....

Facebook is not always accurate in time. It shows wrong estimation sometimes. So, the thing that matters is talk with your friend when he/she is online. Hope you like my answer. ^_^
