I don't particularly like this, and don't recall ever giving permission for this to happen. All of a sudden if I look in my mobile phone contacts list I have absolutely everyone added in there!!!

Absolutely.
Mine did the same thing but I removed that option I thought it was weird too.

That happened to me to -.- Facebook things are going into y calendar and contacts ALL the time getting messages for stuff I didn't ask for... I have no idea why sorry

When you open facebook app after logging it asks you if you want to sync you data choose No that's all
