Serious Help to do with Facebook ? - Julian - 11-23-2013 07:53 PM

I'm 16, and have a Facebook account with privacy settings so that no search engine can get hold of my account. However I have in the past put some pretty vile statuses (racist, ignorant, and pretty arrogant statuses) have also commented on pages with the same hatred. Am not actually a racist underneath and not the sort of person to inflict it ..as wont do it again ...however I have been top by people that even DELETED posts can be retrieved by employers ?? Is this true ? Can employers and people actually get hold of posts that were uploaded years Ago ?? Is it really serious ? And will it actually diminish my job opportunities ?

It's quite possible for them to find information yes, as long as they are technical enough to do so. And beings what the content was of your comments, I cannot find sympathy for you if that does happen.
