Okay so i sent a picture on facebook that i didnt really want to send, if i block the person i sent it to can they still see the message/picture? Thanks.

Yes, they can. Blocking only works when you use it in the present.

If you block them, nothing historic is ever deleted.
The only thing that will happen is that they will be unable to view your account on facebook anymore. (they wont even be able to tell if your account still exists or not).
They wont even see any of your account activity via mutual friends.
But all existing interactions between you two stay as they are.

Yes. Same as you've sent your text message, even if you smash your phone afterward, it's still sent & read by the recipient.

if you're going to block someone, think before you do so, like if you're going to send a gross picture, then decided to block someone before sending it. it's better to get rid of someone, than obtain a bad reputation
