On a persons fb status how is the order of "likes" determined? - Jonathon - 11-26-2013 12:41 PM

Specifically my girlfriends page, she has this guy friend that i do not trust (i believe he wants to be more than her friend) and on all fb posts or status updates you can see who liked them and he is the first name on every single one. Could this be because she talks to him alot, or he may be listed as close friends? Whats the deal?

If he is the first one when it says "guy friend & 13 other people like this" he was the last one to like it. If he isn't there and you click the other 13 and he is at the bottom of the list he was the first one to like it and is probably receiving her updates via text.

I think it's just random, but it's possible it's in the order of who came first and so on..

**It could go either way. They talk a lot so she gets likes or it's the opposite. He likes stuff a lot because they don't talk and he wants to get her attention in an indirect way.

Seriously though,no one in their right mind just up and dates someone just because they 'like' their stuff on FB. If she dates him for whatever reason(s) in the future. It was MORE than that.**

It could be just at random or maybe depends on who liked it first.
