Sure. If you make a facebook account, you need an email. (duh.) Use Yahoo Mail, Gmail, or any email site you are comfortable with. Make your password unique but memorable. Your name doesn't have to be your real name, so just make it whatever you like. Once you have made your account, friend people you know, and never friend anyone you don't know. Make sure you log out of facebook once you're finished. I wouldn't put a check mark on the 'keep me logged in' box because if you do, anyone using the same computer as you can access your account without even entering your password and email. All Facebook games are okay. Some of them ask for money, but don't click on anything that says you have to pay with real money. That gives your credit/ debit card information away to people and that's not a good thing.
Don't like things that post pictures on your page that you are uncomfortable with.

Complete your profile page: add profile and cover pictures of something that resembles you. (It doesn't have to be pictures of yourself.) Fill in the 'about me' section with whatever you want to say about yourself, but never give away personal information (such as: home address, password to fb, your height, weight, etc.)

When posting things on facebook, never give away personal information.

hope I helped. sorry I wrote so much. see ya. Smile
