if i delete something i posted from my own timeline, does it also delete from other people's timeline? - Hank - 11-28-2013 06:38 AM

i want to update my career past without having it post to all 400 of my friends. someone said i can post something, then delete it quickly from my own timeline, and nobody would see it except for the few that might be logged on at that particular moment when i posted it. that way it would be in my career history, and not be slapped across everyone's timeline.
okay, maybe i'm not explaining this right. i want them to be able to see my job history from my profile. so i want them to be able to see it, like normal. i just don't want a notification sent to everyone at the moment i made the change. i don't want it plastered across everyone's timeline.

yes it does... and if you don't want people to view your career history then why don't you just customize it

When you add/update your workplace, it will show on your friends' Newsfeed, if you set it to Public or Friends or Friends of Friends. If that is not you want, that set it to Only Me.
