I'm not a very active facebook user so I never upload any pictures, write on peoples' walls and stuff like that. I've also had the same profile picture for 3 years and the only other photos of me are the ones I've been tagged in (like 14 photos if I remember correctly). I've even adjusted my privacy settings so that only I can see my photos and what people write on my wall, which makes my profile really boring to others. It never really bothered me that my facebook account wasn't as "interesting" as those of my friends but now that I'm in college it feels weird. I recently moved to another city and have been making new friends but I'm afraid to accept their friend requests cause I don't want them to think that I'm weird
I mean everyone I know has at least 100 photos of themselves and they post almost every day while the only thing I do is use the chat feature... Would they think I'm weird or some kind of social outcast?

If you're interacting with people normally in person, who cares what they think about your online profile? Just tell them you aren't an active Facebook user. Yes, we do exist.

People who don't know you may think it's a bit weird but probably not that you're a social outcast. That seems a bit extreme. I know people who don't even have Facebook and are really social and outgoing. I've only had it for about a year now (I'm 21) and I don't even have a profile picture but my friends in real life are my friends on Facebook too. They know me well and they understand that I just use Facebook because it's practical and don't nag me about not posting stuff.
I know it has kind of taken over the world but people aren't really that judgmental. Just accept friend requests. People will think it's weirder that you wouldn't want to accept them than they'll feel about your profile. Besides, you're in college. People should be a little more mature than those silly kids who have to post stuff even when they go to the bathroom. Don't worry to much!

People Who May Not Know you May Think its Weird its Better to Have at Least 1 Picture Up Some People may Recognize your Name But May Not Remember Who you Are But if you Have a Picture Up they Will Be Able to Recognize you Better
